Salad Sprinkles

We have salad EVERY night. I mean EVERY night. It doesn't matter what we have as a main course, there is some sort of salad. I could make a vegetarian meal and plate it... next to salad. And yes, I make everyone's plates for them. That's a discussion for another time...


To add variety, flavor and extra nutrition to the salads, I make a jar full of these sprinkles. I don't use them every night, but enough to keep a jar full of them handy.


And remember---these are approximations--out of something? don't rush to the store! At the end of the package or jar? Dump the rest in! Allergic to something? Good gravy don't add it! You get the idea


1/2 c sesame seeds

1/4c black sesame seeds

3 T celery seeds

2 T dried parsley

2T poppy seeds

2T cranberry seeds

1 T minced dried onion

2 tsp salt

2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp dill

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder


Spinkle to your heart's content!!!
